You have remastered Graffman's Chopin Ballades superbly .... the sound is much more nuanced and three-dimensional than that on the original Lp (USA RCA Victrola Plum Label), an Lp that I owned back in the 1960s. As you used that very same Lp as your source, I can only express astonishment at how much better your CD sounds!

The Dutch conductor Henk Spruit formed in 1945 the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra – and apparently this is the body hiding under the alias “Concert Hall Symphony Orchestra” on the lp of this pioneering recording of Bruckner’s Symphony no.0 (Die Nullte, as it is known). This is a lively rendition making a very good case for this early work and is now restored to the catalog in a compilation together with some other rarities of about the same vintage: namely, Reger’s Ballet Suite played by the Dresden Philarmonic under Schrader and an overture by Pfitzner conducted by Atrhur Rother in Berlin.
