You have remastered Graffman's Chopin Ballades superbly .... the sound is much more nuanced and three-dimensional than that on the original Lp (USA RCA Victrola Plum Label), an Lp that I owned back in the 1960s. As you used that very same Lp as your source, I can only express astonishment at how much better your CD sounds!

Yi-Kwei Sze was the bass singing the part of the pere Laurent in the mono Boston/Munch Berlioz Romeo, and quite an imposing figure he cut. He has a pure bass voice, agile if not a true basso cantante and his rendition of Schumann's Dichterliebe has been deleted a long time ago. Here it is, with the plus bonus of ideal accompaniments from Brooks Smith and in true stereo. A rarity and an important addition to the Lieder catalog.
